2008 Toyota Prius
- Check instrument cluster and confirmed its not working, tried reset procedure but did not work, this generation of prius has a known problem with the circuit board for the cluster, Recommend replacing the cluster. Upon further inspection found engine oil to be about 1 quart low upon arrival. Recommend monitoring fluid levels and topping off oil. Coolant for engine is low in both reservoir and radiator. Front tires are 2 different brand tires and thread pattern. Car is missing 3 lug nuts (possibly locking type). Recommend flushing cooling system in order to rectify protection level due to fluid being low and not mixed properly.
- Disconnect negative terminal cable from battery. Removed all 4 A/C vents. Remove 2 screws holding steering wheel lower panel. Remove panel top panel where push start button is located. Disconnect electrical connection to push start button and remove panel. Removed defrost vent from both driver and passenger side. Removed driver and passenger side A pillar panel. Removed upper glove box by removing 2 screws. Removed lower glove box. Removed 2 bolts from under lower glove box that hold passenger air bag. Removed 2 screws holding the dashboard. Proceeded to pry dashboard and removed it from car. Removed screws holding instrument cluster. Installation is the reverse order of removal. Right Driver's side A/C vent came in cracked and partially broken before it was removed.
2018 Acura MDX
- CHECK ALL SEALS AND GASKETS ON TRANSFER CASE FOR LEAKS. REMOVE DRAIN BOLT AND DRAIN FLUID. REPLACE WITH TRANSFER CASE FLUID ACCORDING TO MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATIONS.
- DRAIN TRANSMISSION AND REMOVE PAN TO ACCESS AND REPLACE FILTER (IF APPLICABLE) REPLACE PAN/DRAIN PLUG AND REFILL TRANSMISSION WITH REGULAR ATF. START CAR AND CHECK FLUID LEVEL.
- INSPECT SEALS AND GASKETS OF DIFFERENTIAL FOR ANY LEAKS. REMOVE REAR PAN/DRAIN PLUG AND DRAIN FLUID. REPLACE GASKET AND REFILL REGULAR FLUID TO MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATIONS. CHECK LEVEL. UP TO 2 QUARTS.
- REMOVE AND KEEP OLD AIR FILTER. REPLACE WITH NEW MANUFACTURER APPROVED FILTER.
2011 Chevrolet HHR
- Drive Belt Cracking. Removed Drive Belt. Inspect Pullies. Installed new drive belt. Check for proper operation.; Complete.
- During inspection found the exhaust manifold was cracked causing a large exhaust leak. Removed manifold and all related hardware. Reinstalled in reverse order using new exhaust manifold. Complete.
- RAISE VEHICLE. REMOVE ENGINE OIL DRAIN PLUG AND DRAIN FLUID. REMOVE AND REPLACE ENGINE OIL FILTER. REINSTALL DRAIN PLUG AND FILL CRANKCASE WITH REGULAR ENGINE OIL. START ENGINE, THEN SHUTOFF AND RECHECK FLUID LEVELS. TOP OFF AS NEEDED UP TO 5 QUARTS.
- REMOVE AND KEEP OLD AIR FILTER. REPLACE WITH NEW MANUFACTURER APPROVED FILTER.
- Removed Spark plugs and all related hardware. Re-installed in reverse order using new spark plugs. Complete.
- Upon inspection of vehicle for spark plugs worn, exhaust manifold is cracked, engine oil pan is seeping, shocks annd struts are original and worn right rear leaks, engine air filter is dirty.
2006 Nissan Pathfinder
- Tech scanned vehicle and found multiple codes for the transmission. Transmission does not engage in reverse and we have confirmed a mechanical failure internally to the transmission. Customer declined repairs at this time.
2018 Toyota Camry
- Raise vehicle on hoist, remove broken pieces of old splash guard, install new splash guard with new hardware.
2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee
- Connected WITech and performed the test plan. Found Multipe communication codes, and checked the wiring in the Can Bus. Found the Can Bus is not communicating with the transfer case module. Check wiring for water intrusion, wear, and rodent damage. none present at this time. Recommend replacement of the Transfer Case Control Module with programming. Note worthy items transmission cooler is leaking, K&N air filter is dirty and needs to be cleaned, brake fluid has 3% water content, strut are oe and should be replaced
- TRANSFER CASE CONTROL UNIT – Remove & Replace – AWD (DTCM) – [Includes: Perform Relearn procedure.]
- Programming WiTech
2017 Toyota Sienna
- Brought vehicle into shop and raised on hoist. Removed front grille assembly. Removed belly pan. Disconnected transmission cooler line. Installed secondary transmission cooler. Connected cooler in-line with radiator. Connected transmission cooler hoses. Reinstalled belly pan and front grille. Started vehicle and tested for leaks. No leaks present. Complete
- Raise vehicle. Remove engine oil drain plug and drain fluid. Remove and replace engine oil filter with new filter. Fill crankcase with fresh synthetic oil. Start engine, then shut off and recheck fluid level. Top off as needed up to 5 quarts.
2018 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen
- Fully inspected vehicle. All fluids are good and at correct levels. Suspension and brakes are properly functioning.
2004 Jeep Wrangler
- Scan complete. Evap code appeared. Recommend replacement gas cap. Recheck. Complete.
2013 Jeep Wrangler
- Customer states check engine light is on. Scanned for codes, code P0741 popped up. Check and Advise.
- Customer states check engine light turned off as he was driving to the shop. Check and Advise.
2018 Acura MDX
- Raised vehicle on racks. Lowered spare tire from inside of vehicle by using the tools under storage compartment. Raised hitch into position and secured with the M14 hardware provided. Raised spare tire back into place. Installation complete.
2013 Ford Transit Connect
- Downloaded faults from ABS control unit: C0063:64 Yaw rate sensor plausibility U3003:16 Battery voltage below threshold C1109:64 Vehicle dynamic control switch U3003: Battery voltage above threshold C003A:07 RR wheel speed sensor mechanical fault C0037:07 RL wheel speed sensor mechanical fault No faults stored in engine computer Test plan indicates clear faults and road test in an attempt to verify concern there where no lights on at time of drop off. Cleared faults and road tested, faults have not returned, there is a lot of wheel bearing type noise. Performed basic Trouble shooting test, Checked charging system okay at this time, Checked rear wheel speed sensor for looseness, okay. Test plan indicates reproducing faults and monitoring wheel speeds. Other item will need to be investigated if faults return. Some test plans indicate poor connections, intermittently failing ABS control unit, sensor cluster array failure. Road tested again while monitoring all four wheel speed sensor data, Noted as vehicle is driven for longer periods of time the left front wheel speed sensor data has speed spikes, when making left turns the traction control light flashes and engine power is reduced. After the vehicle drives straight ahead the light stops flashing and power returns. We checked again for codes in the ABS system and there are none. Currently the condition that exists with the left front wheel speed sensor is causing the traction control system to false activate. This condition should be repaired prior to further testing. Measure tire roll out, service data indicates no more than 1/4' of roll out variation, rear tires are at 1' of roll out and front tires are less than a 1/4". Tire measurements front at 79", RR at 79 3/4, LR at 78 3/4. Performed vehicle inspection. Found left rear shock leaking and vehicle has overall poor ride and handling characteristics. Items in need of attention other than initial concern shocks and struts front brakes LF wheel bearing Right rear tire is cupped and very noisy brake fluid is green and low due to pad wear Left rear wiper is split oil leak at engine, monitor oil level Outer tie rods minor play
