- Found belt ripped apart. Upon further inspection found alternator pulley was the reason belt failed. Recommend replacing belt and alternator.
- RAISE VEHICLE. REMOVE ENGINE OIL DRAIN PLUG AND DRAIN FLUID. REMOVE AND REPLACE ENGINE OIL FILTER. REINSTALL DRAIN PLUG AND FILL CRANKCASE WITH REGULAR ENGINE OIL. START ENGINE, THEN SHUTOFF AND RECHECK FLUID LEVELS. TOP OFF AS NEEDED UP TO 4 QUARTS. Upon further inspection found engine oil pan lower and upper section seeping oil, recommend resealing both. Also the lower oil pan is missing one nut indicating oil pan isn't properly tight and possible reason for seeping. Crankshaft seal also appears to be leaking. Recommend replacement of crankshaft seal. Recommend alignment front tires have outer tire wear.
- Disconnected battery terminal. Removed belt. Removed 3 bolts attached to bracket under alternator. Disconnected positive cable from alternator and sensor connection. Removed remaining 2 bolts and removed alternator. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
