  • Took car on road test to see if any noticeable noises from brakes could be determined. Found no noise. Raised vehicle. Removed front and rear wheels found front brake pads at 5mm and rear drums at 2mm. Proceeded to inspect brake fluid condition. Found brake fluid to have 2% moisture in system. At this time I don't recommend replacement of brakes. Only recommend brake fluid flush if it hasn't been done in 2yrs. Upon further inspection found no engine oil on dipstick upon arrival. Also found sticker indicating car has gone approx 5k miles without an oil change, recommend doing best oil change. PCV hose is seeping, recommend replacement. Valve cover is seeping, recommend resealing and replacement of spark plugs if they haven't been done due to it being accessible now that the valve cover gasket is being done and the intake would be removed giving access. Engine air filter is passed it's service life recommend replacement. Engine air filter cover is broken and causing noise. All engine and trans mount are worn and torn, recommend replacement. Transmission fluid is dark and burned, recommend transmssion service. Recommend coolant flush based on coolant being at -50 degrees when it should be at -34 degrees.
  • RAISE VEHICLE. REMOVE ENGINE OIL DRAIN PLUG AND DRAIN FLUID. REMOVE AND REPLACE ENGINE OIL FILTER. REINSTALL DRAIN PLUG AND FILL CRANKCASE WITH REGULAR ENGINE OIL. START ENGINE, THEN SHUTOFF AND RECHECK FLUID LEVELS. TOP OFF AS NEEDED UP TO 4 QUARTS.
